Resources:

At Ashton Learning Centre, we use a range of learning aids and methods to cater for different kinds of learner. These include computers, books, videos, charts, mind mapping, memory skills and physical resources etc, to help in the main areas of Maths, English, Science and IT. A variety of computer software programs are used to aid learning and make learning fun for all our students.

Lesson times:

Every student is allocated a regular time slot once a week after school. As ALC is a private centre, we continue throughout the school holidays, enabling the student to also keep their focus out of term time. Each 1-hour session will be made up of direct teaching, written work and computer activity. Tuesday - Thursday 3:30 - 6:30pm

Initial Assessment £5.00
Standard Session (KS1-KS3) £12.00
Standard Session (GCSE students) £13.00
Enrolment Fee £10.00
Consumables Fee £5.00
The first 2 sessions will be on a trial basis and if you and your child are happy to enrol, a £10 enrolment fee is required to set up your child’s learning folder. Fees are paid monthly at the beginning of each month. Each March and September, a £5.00 fee is payable for consumables (paper, printing, pens, rubbers, etc.).

Notice

Once enrolled, we require 4 weeks’ notice if you wish your child to stop their learning sessions.
